Juan Peralta is a highly accomplished musician based in The Netherlands, celebrated for his outstanding versatility and inventive contributions across various musical domains.In the realm of composition, Peralta has recently made significant contributions to the film industry, serving as an arranger and additional composer for the feature film "Quiero tu Vida." This notable project, executive produced by Academy Award nominee Salma Hayek and directed by Jorge Colón, was released in May 2023. Demonstrating his versatility, Peralta has also delved into composition for advertisement, working on the original music for brands such as Lexus USA, Coca-Cola, Bayut, Aeromexico, and Boar's Head. His exceptional talent was further recognized when he was chosen as the composer for the two commercials in the iconic “December to Remember” campaign by Lexus in 2023. Currently, he is actively engaged as a composer assistant to the award-winning composer Bernardo Castro.Peralta earned a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music from the Royal Conservatory of Granada (Spain). His dedication to excellence led him to graduate with honors from the Orchestra Master's program at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (The Netherlands). In a significant milestone, he secured a permanent position as a trumpet player in The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in 2019.As an orchestral musician, Peralta has collaborated extensively with renowned orchestras including the National Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, the City of Granada Symphony Orchestra, and the Residentie Orkest. His performances under the baton of esteemed conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Valeri Gergiev, Jaap van Zweden, John Adams, Karina Canellakis, and Vasily Petrenko have graced prestigious venues like the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the National Auditorium in Madrid, and De Doelen in Rotterdam.With a global footprint, Juan Peralta has participated in music projects spanning over 12 countries and has received accolades from prestigious international competitions, including the Indie Film Music Contest 2020, Jan Koetsier Competition 2014, Music Cosmos Composer Competition 2021, Trumpetland Stars International Competition 2014, and the Alnafir Trumpet Competition 2007.Beyond his compositional prowess, Peralta has showcased his versatility as a multi-instrumentalist session musician, collaborating with top-tier artists such as DJ and producer Martin Garrix, two-time Latin Grammy winner Tony Succar, or the international trumpet player Adam Rapa.
